CPL(H) TRAINING COURSE
Why Pilot Training at H Heli's?
H Heli’s is based at Tatenhill Airport in Staffordshire, the sole training helicopter company allowed by the airport. The airport is a thriving general aviation airfield that is open 7 days per week, and licenced between 0900-1700, with no restrictions on helicopter training and is in fact well suited.
The surrounding airspace is open and uncongested, making it an ideal training area to operate in. When you progress during your training you will be exposed to more complicated areas of airspace such as East Midlands and Birmingham airports, allowing you to improve on your skill and boost your confidence. The local flying area also allows you to gain skills in your map reading as you go North into the Peak District and West into Wales, you can also experience the challenges of mountain flying too, which is an add on course when you qualify for your licence, we also fly the helicopter routes through London – great fun!
